I cannot believe we are in year 2023! Time is passing so quickly! It seems like yesterday when I decided to establish Moniluxx and enter the world of entrepreneurship. I’ve been loving my journey so far and I’ve learned a lot! When selling something that you take an interest in or love, it doesn’t feel like work when you’re putting in the long hours and riding the up and downs of successes and failures. I crave stability, peace and tranquility. In every home I’ve had, I intentionally create a peaceful and comfortable environment.
Does the thought of designing a room give you anxiety? You don’t have to invest huge amounts of money, it is more about integrating colors, textures, and accent pieces that will pull the room together and make you smile every time you walk into the room. Upon the start of the new year, it is the perfect time for a home décor refresh before Spring rolls in. I find that choosing timeless pieces that will last and look good over the years works and doesn’t break the bank. Choose quality ceramics featuring subtle curves and that draws the eye and provides a luxurious look.
Picture a room styled in colors of vanilla, dove grey, and stone (grey/beige), with rich accent colors. Add in throw blankets made of the softest chenilles in rich greys or blues to add a contrast of color. Of course, how the colors are integrated into the space makes a difference as well.
Choosing home decor can be daunting, but once you choose your base colors, the process gets easier as you go along. While decorating, I can express my creative side and really insert my personality, likes and dislikes into my décor. Styling a room has proven to be a source of comfort and serenity for me.
It can be the same for you as well.
The sense of satisfaction that I receive from decorating and seeing the finished results are so satisfying, that I wanted to share with others through Moniluxx. With all of the turmoil currently going on outside your home, you can have a sense of peace and serenity that starts with your decor in your home.
